This policy explains what personal information Mediniva collects, why, how long we keep it and how you can exercise your rights. It applies to mediniva.com.

1. Information we collect

When you place an order: first and last name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number and the information needed for delivery. Your card details never pass through our servers: they are handled directly by our payment provider.

When you browse: IP address, browser and operating system, pages viewed, and information from the cookies described in section 5.

If you sign up for our emails: your email address and, if you give it, your first name.

2. How we use it

• to process, ship and track your orders;
• to answer your questions and handle your requests;
• to meet our accounting and legal obligations;
• to send you our emails, if you signed up (you can unsubscribe in one click from any email);
• to prevent fraud and keep payments secure;
• to measure traffic and improve the website.

3. Who we share it with

Your information is shared only with the service providers we need to run the store:

• Shopify Inc., which hosts the store and provides the e-commerce platform;
• our payment provider, to secure transactions;
• our carriers, to deliver your package;
• our email service, if you signed up for our emails.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising without your consent. If the business is sold or merged, it could be transferred to the buyer, who would be bound by the same obligations.

4. Where it is processed

Some of our providers, including Shopify, may store or process information outside your state or country, with appropriate safeguards.

5. Cookies

A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit. We use:

• Essential cookies, needed for the site and checkout to work (for example: _session_id, cart, _secure_session_id). They cannot be turned off.
• Analytics cookies, which count visits in aggregate (for example: _shopify_visit, _shopify_uniq).
• Advertising cookies, to measure how well our ads work.

You can refuse non-essential cookies in your browser settings at any time. Refusing them does not prevent you from ordering.

6. How long we keep it

• Order information: 5 years after your last order, then archived as required for tax and accounting records.
• Email subscribers: 3 years after your last interaction with us.
• Cookies: 13 months maximum.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against loss, unauthorized access, disclosure or alteration. Connections to the site are encrypted (SSL/TLS) and payments meet the PCI-DSS standard.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and other states with privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of its sale, sharing or use for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information.

To exercise your rights, email contact@mediniva.com. We will reply within the time required by law, and within 45 days at most. We may need to verify your identity. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

9. Age

This website and our products are intended for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Any significant change will be posted on this page with a new date below.
